Usually on tuesdays I'm at home the whole day, but yesterday I was out, for a while. Went to school to attend a talk on permanent residency in Australia. Turns out I can't get PR status till I graduate, which is a pity cause Science students who hold PR status pay $15k for the whole three years of their course. Well, that's half of my school fees for one year. Unless I want to continue staying in Australia and work here, PR is of no use to me.
Thought I would be spending at least one day a week not seeing FFC members. In th end su san called me that night and told me that they were nearby going for a gelati session. Woah. Who could say no to gelati? So I went, but in the end all the gelati shops were closed, so we settled for bubble tea along bourke st.
I unconciously shut my alarm clock up this morning, and went back to sleep. Got woken up by gy's call through the telecom system at my place, which means that 9 of them were already downstairs waiting for me. Jumped up and down in a record time of 11minutes, and off we went for the ANZAC Day parade. Anzac is a commemoration day for veterans who fought in all the wars and peacekeeping missions Australia ever took part in. Going for the parade seems like a boring idea to me, but the guys, being army people, wanted to go and so we went. It was boring, except for guys in kilts and the dogs we saw along the way. Explored royal parade park after lunch, then went to jansen's place to prepare dinner.
Dinner was sumpteous. The two Iron Chefs whipped out honey-pepper baked chicken, potato chips, instant veges, rump steaks with mushroom-pepper sauce and onions, meatballs and Green Anzac. Hmm green anzac is a green new creation of dip cum salad, aka a universal sauce. Ingredients are not to be revealed. We ate it with almost everything else, and finished almost all of it.
2 songs completed, 2 more to go. All for a girl, by a girl and 2 guys. Madness.

This picture was taken at a CSS 2006 Trivarsity Retreat at The Church of St. Teresa, by a fellow retreat cum CSS member.
Besides its bluish hue, I love how the shot was taken: from the church looking out to the city. We are often attracted by
the excitement that this world has to offer, but we should often be reminded that as Catholics, it is important
to look back at our selves to reflect, and to turn to God as often as it possible. For we are, afterall, children of God.
I thought of replacing this picture when I lost my template, but I could not find another so full of meaning and beauty to me.
It reminds me of my identities and roles - my spirituality, my God, my home, the people who read this blog, and of my own beauty.

mood: resigned
song in her head: wants to give you up. she knows you're not the one. not the one who understands her. not the one who wants to support her and love her for all her imperfections.
