The past week had been long and draggy. The rest of them, except for lionel me joey and gy, went to Tasmania for a road trip, and wont be back till tues. Lionel went for a church camp, and he just got back. So the weekend had only the three of us left. Quiet.
So Gy, joey and I decided to go up to Essendon's DFO to take a look. After much detour and walking, we finally got there, two and a half hours later than our estimated time of arrival. In the end, the stores were about the same as the one at spencer st, and the stores were closing. How disappointing. In the end, I did buy something. Went all the way there and bought... Giordano. How sad. Spent A$80 on a top and a knitted sweater. Nice.
That was on saturday. Ytd, we went down to werribee zoo with 12 other people. It has an open range concept, so it's kinda like a safari. The place is big, but not many species of animals. I think we ended up examining more plants than animals. Australia really has a large variety of wild flowers and bushes and plants, and some of them are pretty interesting, like... a minty eucalyptus?
After that, we bought some frozen dumplings and went to gy's place to eat. We had a big scare when joey dropped his keys under the bed and we couldn't find it. Thank goodness he did, if not the locksmith would have earned another 99bucks this easter. =P
The temperature is rising again. This week the max temp is 25degrees Celsius, whereas for last week it's around 20degrees. Large difference. At least we wont be freezing this easter hols. At least I wont be freezing at my camp. Hopefully.
It's such a lazy day today... Went to smith st in search for windbreakers, but just couldn't find any buyable ones. Somehow australians don't wear windbreakers, despite the fact that the wind here is pretty strong. Weird. Then we went to spencer st dfo to shop somemore, and didn't really see anything much either. Had Krispy Kreme and then went for dinner and then went home. Must sleep early tonight! Must wake up early for the camp tmr.

This picture was taken at a CSS 2006 Trivarsity Retreat at The Church of St. Teresa, by a fellow retreat cum CSS member.
Besides its bluish hue, I love how the shot was taken: from the church looking out to the city. We are often attracted by
the excitement that this world has to offer, but we should often be reminded that as Catholics, it is important
to look back at our selves to reflect, and to turn to God as often as it possible. For we are, afterall, children of God.
I thought of replacing this picture when I lost my template, but I could not find another so full of meaning and beauty to me.
It reminds me of my identities and roles - my spirituality, my God, my home, the people who read this blog, and of my own beauty.

mood: resigned
song in her head: wants to give you up. she knows you're not the one. not the one who understands her. not the one who wants to support her and love her for all her imperfections.
