It's been about 10 days since I've been back. Yes people I'm home. To those who didn't know till now, I apologise cause I havent had the time to tell many people.
Went out with CSS people for shopping, and helped to set up Monika's place for a surprise birthday party. Met up with shu hui and wendy for lunch and shopping; met up with jean and inn for dinner and shopping. The Great Singapore Sale is starting to take its toll on me. I found out that shopping is a once-in-a-while occasion, and not for consecutive days.
Today I met up with the HighFivers for soccer at the usual tp court. Haven't played in such a long time! The last time was before I left, more than 4 months ago. Was supposed to join the CSS guys for soccer at this place called The Cage at kallang on tues, but I don't think I'll go. Bella's not going so it'll be weird playing among guys whom I dunno half of... Anw, today's soccer was fun! Good start to the many more soccer games to come. It was nice catching up with people...
After lunch I came home, bathed, slept for 10mins, and went for mass. From my place at Sembawang Park to my church in Yishun, it takes only 15 minutes at most for my dad's car to reach. Going on my own using public transport takes me 40 minutes. I still love my house and where I stay though.
After mass, I went to Sun Plaza and bought dinner home, as well as some roasted chestnuts. Went home, had dinner, and watched Initial D, while eating my chestnuts. They're a good and healthy alternative to popcorn. Supposedly aids in losing weight too, though I'm not too sure about that. Anyhow, watching a movie, eating chestnuts, drinking Yakult in the comfort and air-conditioned living room of your home (today was bloody hot) - this is life.
Jay Chou is quite cool in that show, but he cannot act in relationship scenes. Not to mention that the acting of the girl was not good too. The ending of the show is only not too abrupt because of the song. Without it it'll be awkward. Anyhow, I want to learn to drift. Hmm and I haven't even started learning how to drive. It's like a baby wanting to learn how to rollerblade before it can walk.
I'm gonna watch Pirates 2 again at home tomorrow, before I go out at night to watch Pirates 3. Hopefully I'll find some grapes around to go with my movie at home.

This picture was taken at a CSS 2006 Trivarsity Retreat at The Church of St. Teresa, by a fellow retreat cum CSS member.
Besides its bluish hue, I love how the shot was taken: from the church looking out to the city. We are often attracted by
the excitement that this world has to offer, but we should often be reminded that as Catholics, it is important
to look back at our selves to reflect, and to turn to God as often as it possible. For we are, afterall, children of God.
I thought of replacing this picture when I lost my template, but I could not find another so full of meaning and beauty to me.
It reminds me of my identities and roles - my spirituality, my God, my home, the people who read this blog, and of my own beauty.

oh and don't bother asking me out
unless you want to go Down Under
mood: resigned
song in her head: wants to give you up. she knows you're not the one. not the one who understands her. not the one who wants to support her and love her for all her imperfections.
