In the end, the rains did come. But the chalking was so thick that it withstood the rain! Albeit a little faded now... Hope many new people turn up tmr and that they will stay.
Just a little note to add to the previous post: Thanks for Christine. =)
The first sunday after touching down in Aust, we went to IKEA to shop. Bought a clothes rack for myself, and we bought a huge pot and frozen meatballs to share. In the shopping centre, there was this kid's ride that I think Sam would want to sit on: Thomas the Train.
We had music practice on tues and today for the mass tmr. Revisited some familiar old songs that we used to sing in IJ. Feels good. Funny how everytime we practise no one seems to rmb how the different versions of the Hosanna goes. Weird. This weekend, I'll be off to a retreat for the comm members. Should be good.
Before I left, we celebrated my granma's 69th bday as well. One more year to the big 7! There's the video below.

This picture was taken at a CSS 2006 Trivarsity Retreat at The Church of St. Teresa, by a fellow retreat cum CSS member.
Besides its bluish hue, I love how the shot was taken: from the church looking out to the city. We are often attracted by
the excitement that this world has to offer, but we should often be reminded that as Catholics, it is important
to look back at our selves to reflect, and to turn to God as often as it possible. For we are, afterall, children of God.
I thought of replacing this picture when I lost my template, but I could not find another so full of meaning and beauty to me.
It reminds me of my identities and roles - my spirituality, my God, my home, the people who read this blog, and of my own beauty.
