I just had my first paper for this sem, Genetics and the Evolution of Life. It was much harder compared to the sample paper. For the bio paper last sem, we finished around one hour earlier than the designated time of 3hrs, but for this paper I finished just 10mins before time was up. Tough. Had so much shading to do! Now I know why people bring food in: to munch on while you're wasting time shading the MCQ sheet.
Yep, for the exams here, you can bring food and water in (not like A levels where they don't even allow you to bring your bottle in). For the MCQ, you can use a PEN to shade, though they do specify they would prefer you to use a pencil. If you've circled all your answers on the question paper, and ran out of time to shade the sheet, don't worry because you just have to let the examiner know and they'll mark your question paper instead. Cool huh. Back in singapore, if you can't finish shading, that's your problem because shading time is included in the time designated. Oh and technically, the paper is a total of 3 hr and 15 mins, 15 mins before the paper for reading time. It's for you to check the paper, and read through the questions. I suppose that's to make up for the time spent on writing your name during the 3 hrs.
Physics on fri. Did I mention it's the last phy paper of my life?

Besides its bluish hue, I love how the shot was taken: from the church looking out to the city. We are often attracted by
the excitement that this world has to offer, but we should often be reminded that as Catholics, it is important
to look back at our selves to reflect, and to turn to God as often as it possible. For we are, afterall, children of God.
I thought of replacing this picture when I lost my template, but I could not find another so full of meaning and beauty to me.
It reminds me of my identities and roles - my spirituality, my God, my home, the people who read this blog, and of my own beauty.
